The Armistice Day Parade of 1925 finds the men Winterton and Winteringham in north Lincolnshire in reflective mood in this photograph from 1925. While the photograph was taken in front of the Wesleyan Chapel in Winteringham it was the custom for the men to attend each other’s parade: here Winterton men are at the front of the line. The Winteringham war memorial had been unveiled four years earlier.
